Hi Guys, I haven't been neglecting my blogging but I have had web site issues - thankfully my personal computer "man" has me up and operating again (I hope). Sunday and a terrible loss by the SKINS to Tampa I can't believe a single point loss oh well, I guess there's the Dallas game next week. We sure hope they do a heck of a lot of practice this week because we can't bear another loss let alone to Dallas. Hey, I have to dreadfully face my Trainer, Tim who is such a Dallas fan I'd rather see him with a SKINS win then a loss to Dallas.
Weather here has been terrible, colder then normal and windy. We went today to try to buy some freeze blankets for our new fruit trees and there were none available, we have high hopes that one of the local plant sites will have some left. I think everyone that lost trees & plants last year have invested in freeze blankets with the hope of not loosing them again. Keep your fingers crossed that we have good luck tomorrow and find 6-8 of them atleast enough to cover our new fruit trees.
I think we both have a few packages due from UPS for Christmas then the shopping is over. We went out again today and bought more toys for the needy children that is such a wonderful feeling. Tomorrow we will leave them at the gym for the Toys for Tots program then I think we're finished buying for the year. Off to the dentist tomorrow - uh how I dread that but it's necessary (unfortunately):)
All our gifts are wrapped and under the tree it's so pleasant sitting in the family room watching the little lights twinkle. I only wish this time of year could last all year everyone seems so happy "what a wonderful time of the year". Well, I think I'll go watch a little TV before I finish tonights dinner. We're having a new chicken done in the crock pot with garlic mashed potatoes (quite unusual for us to have mashed potatoes) and a nice vegetable. Lunch was home made (low cal) nachos and I think we're both full from them. I'll close & get back to TV & watching the beautiful tree with my Sweetie. We love & miss everyone:)
