So so sorry I haven't blogged but we've been really busy doing a little of this & a little of that. Our final football game for the season was today and we had a FANTASTIC win - yep our Sr. Cougars kicked butt and we're so proud of them. It's sad that the year has come to an end but WOW can we look back over the years practice and playing and see great improvement with most of our players. We will certainly miss our Senior players that leave us this year but we are so so proud of you and know that you'll do well in high school. For the returning players we can't wait until next year - but remember to keep in shape and keep your weight down for next year - Pat & I will be expecting a great group of return players. Pride just doesn't describe how we feel about all of you:)
It is certainly cold here today, when we left before 7:30 AM for the football field it was only about 40 degrees & windy. What a way to break in the cooler weather for us yep, it had to be on football saturday when we had an early morning game. It's after 5:00PM & is still chilly outside. I put on jogging pants when we got home from the field and believe me they feel good.
GATOR Saturday has been super we're proud of our team but know they have a lot of work on the horizon for themselves. We still scream for them & root them on every Saturday - hey kinda like Sunday and the Redskins - yea HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!
Well, I think I've said enough for the day and I'd like to watch a little more college football with my sweetie. Just wanted to let everyone know I hadn't forgotten about them & I'm sorry for not blogging. Promise (again) to do better. Have a super night:)
