Early Happy Halloween to everyone sure hope you have your costumes in order by now. We've already been out this morning and did our drug store run, seems like we buy a lot of ice packs for the football injuries. I can't tell you how gorgeous our weather is, we've been about 36 days with no rain (which isn't really good) but the temperature has dropped drastically, the breeze is blowing lightly, and the sun is out. We are having low 80 highs for today and evening in the 50's we're definately LOVIN IT!! Hope the kids up North have decent weather tomorrow for trick or treating nothing is like ruining a costume by having to wear a heavy winter coat. Got our fingers crossed that it's in the upper 50's & nice outside. We don't have to even think about kids knocking at our door our homes are far to far apart and the children would be tired before they could walk 1/4 mile down the drive-way to get to the door.
Patrick and I have some great chocolate candy for the players at the field tonight. Looks like they'll get their sugar rush after the game with Gatorade, chocolate candy, and pretzels. We take good care of our guys, and our parents are wonderful about bringing in their weekly snack and drink for the hard working players to enjoy. I thank every family that helped this year with our team and their wonderful snacks and drinks.
I have no idea what Pat's doing but he's been in work clothes & outside since we got back from the drug store. I imagine he's piling up some of the grass cuttings so we can pick them up with the tractor and dispose of them. That's what we did last night before dinner, it was cool outside and the sky was beautiful sure wish we could share it with you guys.
Well, I think I'll close & watch a little of the Food Network. Whatever you do today make it great, have a super safe evening and a great Halloween tomorrow:0) In closing, GO COUGARS (our young man team) and we're hoping the GATORS chomp chomp chomp Georgia!! GO GATORS:)
