End of the week and nearly the end of the month. I guess you could say "another one bites the dust" - wow the Holidays will be here before we realize it. I have stuffed shells in the oven baking so when we get home from football practice tonight dinner will be ready - yep, no chicken noodle soup for Patrick tonight I know he has to really be tired of it.
Weather has been pretty good today, naturally because we leave soon for football it looks like rain but I hope it passes us by instead of getting the field and driving area wetter then it currently is. Yep, I got stuck in the mud last night and had to be helped out, the parking area for the parents is so wet and muddy you simply can't drive in it. I learned my lesson I won't drive there again. We have honestly had so much rain (which we originally needed) that I'd love to have a break and a little dry weather. The grass gets cut and before a week has passed it needs cut again come on FALL we need a break from the grass and trimming. One of our football players cut it last week which was great, maybe I can con him into coming back this week - ummmm I fed him good the last time:):)
I did most of the collection last night for the Sonny BBQ ticket sales and as I expected we didn't do as good as before. However, the economy has affected everyone and it's a little harder now the get $8.00 out of people then it was a year ago. Regardless I salute the boys & families for a job well done!! Saturday is our Jamboree game which we're all looking forward to. I bought Gatorade & chips for the boys snack and one of the other mothers is bringing frozen grapes to the game. All I can say is GO COUGARS:):)
Well, I better close & check on the stuffed shells. It's also time to get ready to leave for practice. Promise to blog again tomorrow. REMEMBER, we love & miss everyone.
