Thursday - I can't believe that was the last day I posted. Sorry guys I've just been really really busy. As I mentioned last week we had our first scrimmage football game last Friday and I must say it was super. I know Patrick & the coaches probably see a lot of work that needs to be done but in the scheme of things it was far better then I expected. We out scored both of the teams we played and our players seemed to have a great time which to me is more important then anything. I'm anxious to hear the players feedback tonight:) GO COUGARS!!
Unfortunately, our uniform jerseys did not come in so the team pictures got postponed, I think if the jerseys come in that they will try to do the pictures before our "Jamboree" game this upcoming Saturday. We'll keep everybody posted so they know when the pictures will be taken. I only hope the team does as good during Jamboree as they did last Friday - keep up the good work guys we know you can do it.
I just spoke with one of my wonderful friends from many many years ago, Linda Redman, it is so great having friends for so many years and seeming like you never lose a minutes time. I can't wait to see her, hoping to get to visit in November - I know I'll have a lot to blog about after that visit:)
Weather here is about the same maybe a little cooler. I think when I logged on the "feels like" temperature was right at 96 degrees - better the 100 plus. We have definately had our share of rain over the past couple of weeks - ufortunately it seems to happen just around football practice. I'm certainly hoping that will change this week and it will rain after practice so the boys & coaches aren't hampered by rain rain rain:)
Gym was great today, I seem to have increased my weight on some of the equipment and the free weights. Considering it was Monday and I hadn't worked out (so to speak) since last Thursday I was very pleased with my work-out. All I can say is I'm getting ready for Tim, my trainer, tomorrow!! Patrick had his normal racquetball day except his partner, Sammy, injured his hand. Sure hope the swelling goes down and Sam's back at the gym tomorrow AM. Hey Sam maybe the pasta salad that we brought you will make you feel better:):):)
Well guys I'll call it a day and get ready to take a shower before we head out to practice. Stay cool, enjoy the week. Remember we love & miss you all.
Kisses,
Patty
