Top of the morning to everyone. It's overcast and looks like rain however it's only in the upper 70's so that's great news for us. I can handle the overcast cloudy weather just dread the rain that I know we'll get this afternoon. Looks like we've got 40% chance through next week; the good news is it only storms for a short period of time then it's over for the day. We did manage to get the lawn cut yesterday evening in about 1 1/2 hours it was nice and cool out with no sunshine just the kind of weather that's good for grass cuttin'.
No real plans for today, Patrick is outside doing the preliminary things for the generator move next weekend can't wait to get it moved & start some landscaping around the house boy do we need it. The generator will last longer if is is protected by the building so there is no reason to leave it sitting outside in the rain and horrible bright sunshine. I have no idea when we are going to take the tractor and put the ditch in the ground for the electrician to drop the cable into. I think the power company has to come out and mark the area that we can dig up for the cable. I don't know, I'll just operate the tractor when I'm instructed to do so. I still follow orders and try to do the best job I can. I'll be glad when this task is over then I have no idea what Pat has in line on our list of "honey dos" next. I only know that we have a big long list:):)
Dad's been reading & watching TV along with the dogs, cats, & birds. Typical Dad nothing new just food and his favorites. Hank is doing about the same however the last couple of days he seems to be eating like a pig & getting up more then normal. I think he had a record day yesterday for wanting outside to go to the bathroom which is a major accomplishment. I do take the good days with caution because I'm afraid it's the good before the bad. He tries so hard to be normal and it's near impossible for him. Abner has been pretty good with leaving him alone I think he knows time is nearing.
Well, I think I'll go outside & check on Patrick. Have a super duper Saturday. Get the grills hot & the food ready for the 4th. Franny, we should be there by 3:00. Remember we love & miss everyone.
Hugs & Kisses,
Patty
