Yep, Thursday already and the week is quickly coming to a close. We've been busy as two bees in the garden and around the house so I haven't had time to blog - sorry:) You wouldn't believe the tomatoes in our garden nearly every plant has tomatoes only waiting for them to grow a little more & turn red. We've or should I say Patrick has picked 5-6 squash and I think they are on the menu for tomorrow. We even had peppers on the plants and herbs galore looks like the winter planting will be bigger & better. Our neighbor next door just moved in about 200 head of cattle/cows so we're going to see if we can get some of the manure and start drying it for the winter planting.
We've been lucky this year our weather has been great. We've had less 90 degree days then this time last year and the humidity has been down. I'm thankful for the change but our rainy afternoon weather is around the corner so I'm certain we'll soon start experiencing the humidity crises again. As long as this nice weather lasts we're enjoying it. I think it was 89 degrees and only 49 percent humidity when I signed on so fortunately it's very nice outside with little to no humidity.
Football conditioning is tonight so I need to get dressed & ready to leave by 5:00. Sure wish we had a few of our MD coaches here to help with the team (hint-hint). Better yet, wish we had some of them to visit us and meet the team (hint-hint). We certainly miss everyone and wish we had the opportunity to visit but with Dad having his limitations it is to hard to leave him for any period of time so I guess the idea of a trip is beyond possibilities.
