Hi guys it's early Saturday evening and I have dinner cooking. Nothing special just a hamburger pot pie something Dad will like and Pat and I will eat a small amount of. I think I'll make him a salad and put a little on top of the salad. I'm actually not hungry but needed to make something for dinner. We haven't been having our Saturday evening burger since Pat's been watching "everything" he eats. I hate cooking on Saturday I think I got out of the routine and looked forward to a day free from wondering what I was going to make. Oh well, it'll be out of the oven shortly and I'll retire to the TV for the night.
Pat's at the shop working on his lathe and Dad's in his chair reading. It's actually been a boreing day little going on and not going out except for early morning to Lowes and Walgreens. I sure miss driving, I think I would have done some shopping had I been able to drive. I need to buy a new bedspread, pillows, etc. but I couldn't really find anything I liked on the internet. I ordered a magazine from one of the companys I'm leary of the color & hopefully the magazine will show a true color before I place an order.
It's after 6:00 and still 70 degrees but quite breezy. In fact, when I just came back from the warehouse it was a little chilly on the golf cart. Sure hope our temps stay out of the freezing zone, I'm not ready for anymore of that weather this year. I know, when it's upper 80's 90's, I'll be wishing for freezing temps again - what can I say.
Well, I think I'll make Patrick a salad to go along with his dinner. I'll blog again tomorrow. Stay inside, stay warm. We love & miss everyone.
