Well guys we're approaching the goal line! Yep, our cold span for this time frame looks like it's ending Thursday/Friday. The weather man is calling for low 70's on Thursday and 78 (hip hip horray) on Friday. However, we do have freezing temps called for tonight I'm hoping this is the last night of weather this cold. Out of 11 days this month we have had 7 with temps in the freezing zone late at night. I NEVER remember it being so cold here for such a long period of time. It was nice outside during the day today (wearing jeans and a flannel shirt with a light jacket) but certainly not the weather we're accustomed to. I promise to try to send you guys some warm weather when it arrives.
Today, the gym was so cold Pat & I finished our work-out quicker then usual and were home about an hour plus early. I did my entire work-out wearing long sweats, long sleeve T-shirt, and a light jacket. Even with my routine I didn't crack a sweat - now something is wrong with this picture. Hey, we live in FL where it is suppose to be "nice" not "freezing" all year. Regardless we made it through the work-out & racquetball and home. Then my sweetie took me on errands and out to lunch. He ate a salad but I had to have a "small" portion of shrimp/scallops New Orleans style from Harrys - it was great.
The competition between the guys at the gym should be fun. I can't wait to see how things materialize. I know it will be good for me because my Dad has up & down days with eating and Patrick will eat the same thing everyday (chicken & salad) so my cooking tasks will be limited until the diet is over. I could care less what Dad and I eat so it should be a piece of cake for me.
Well, I think I'll close & get my night clothes on. You guys stay inside, stay warm, and "love the one you're with" (and it better be your husband/wife or significant other).
