Early Merry Christmas to all our wonderful friends & family. I have all the gifts wrapped, stockings that I can't find filled (I made new ones out of shopping bags :) funny you should see them. I made the stuffing last night (all I have to do is bake it), the ambrosia is made, bake the turkey breast tomorrow, raise the fresh rolls, make the sweet potatoes, white mashed potatoes & veges & it will soon be over. Why can't we spread this out over a week instead of "one" day? It is far to much work for one day. I wish all of you could head South one year and join us it would be wonderful and quite a break away from the nasty snowy weather:)
We were off this morning to the gym, mall, then lunch with Sammy. We are so fortunate to have such good friends - thanks for lunch Sam it was great. Pat & Sam played racquetball while I went to the mall. I don't know why I "missed" shopping this year I spent the entire morning in the mall and spent very little. I guess I had ordered more then I tought and I really didn't need to go shopping. Well, I had my fill of that and the mall wasn't even packed with people. I must admit when we drove by Walmart it was crowded but the mall was pretty slow considering it's the eve of the "big day". I'm anxious to see what the shopping results are when they are announed I imagine they will be down.
No special plans for tonight just an easy simple dinner don't know what yet and then we'll watch some Christmas movies or shows. My cold seems to be better but I still have a stuffy nose and sneezing guess I'll have to endure it until it runs its course.
Well, I think I'll close & get this posted. MAY ALL OF YOU HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH YOUR FRIENDS & FAMILY. REMEMBER WE MISS & LOVE YOU.
Love,
Patty & Pat
