Well guys our company is gone and it's so quiet without the sound of little feet around the house. Dad is doing his normal "taking his early evening nap" and Patrick is over the shop God only knows what he's doing. His project has been looking and downloading books for Dads new Christmas gift. I think I mentioned, we bought him a Sony Reader so we can download books and not have to go to the library as often. The "Reader" is fascinating you can use the dictionary in it, make notes, draw pictures, listen to music, on and on. I think it is definately something he will thoroughly enjoy.
Speaking of Christmas it is around the corner and I am absolutely not ready for it. This year I did very little actual shopping - I ordered off the internet but physically going to the store was very limited. Not driving anymore definately SUCKS I miss not driving. Patrick will take me any where but I always hate to ask, so I do without going. I guess I'll eventually get accustomed to it - when I don't know, but it will happen. It's not the worst thing that could happen but it definately requires an adjustment one that I'm still going through. I guess because I drove all the time before my sickness now not driving at all is crazy. I think I want to drive & I'll go down the street and come back because I'm not secure with my judgment. Oh well, it will pass I only hope soon.
Sure hope everyone is ready for Christmas. I know all the crazy snow you guys had over the weekend set you back a day or two, but think about it this way you still have the rest of the week and some of the nights can be late ones. Wish we were up there I'd go shopping with you, but we'll have to endure the nice cool (not cold) weather and I guess I'll pass on the shopping.
Tomorrow after the gym we are going to the grocery store to pick up the last minute things for the "feast". I really don't need much just a few things. Dad & Patrick are anxious for the stuffing I think my entire meal could be "only" stuffing and they'd be pleased. I haven't decided what fresh veges to cook yet, I think I'll decide once I get to the store and see what looks the best.
Well, I think I'll close & get ready to fix a bite of dinner. Dad said about an hour ago he was getting hungry (even tough I feed him a sandwich about 2:30) so I think I need to make the chicken & rice. I'll blog again later. Stay inside - stay warm - and remember we love & miss you guys.
Hugs & Kisses,
Patty
