Already blogging and checking mail for the morning. We got up early as usual, I have linens in the washer, a load of whites to wash, and my bed to put fresh sheets on. Haven't went any where yet but I'm certain that's on todays list of "things to do". I know we need some drain cleaner because our drain in our master suite seems to be a little sluggish so if no where else looks like Lowes is on the list.
Can't wait until next weekend when Jeanine, Jeremy, & Nora come to visit we're looking so forward to having our Christmas with Ms. Nora. It's so much fun having children (little ones) around at Christmas. Just the joy of opening gifts and playing makes the day. My Dad loves spending time with her, she always wears her Redskin outfit and it doesn't take much to make him smile & laugh. She is definately a morale boost for him which he can definately use. No special plans just enjoying each others company - we're on the count-down.
I haven't done a lot of shopping, I've ordered numerous things but little mall shopping. I can't stand the crowds and as frequently as we buy what we want (which isn't that often but whenever we want something) it's not worth fighting the crowds. As long as we have a few things to open that's all that is important. Dad is having a pretty good Christmas as you guys know he's like a kid in the toy store on Christmas morning. Actually I haven't even planned dinner, I know it will be turkey breast, stuffing, FRESH veges, home made dinner rolls, and probably a nice homemade dessert. It will only be the three of us so it's actually no big deal. I hope to be able to relax & actually enjoy the day for what it is.
Okay, I think I'll check the laundry and then head over to the warehouse to help Patrick with the sign he's making for our friend. Promise to blog later. Stay inside where it's warm and enjoy your family. We miss & love everyone.
