Well guys it's almost 4:00 and Pat's gift still hasn't arrived. I sure hope it gets here today as scheduled I've got my fingers crossed. Just finished decorating the tree and it's gorgeous. I'll have Patrick make pictures later this week & get them posted. I love having the inside of the house decorated the lighting looks so beautiful when the sun starts to set.
Dad's in his chair reading, he took a brief nap while I decorated. He's like a kid in the candy store with the lights & decorations. He & I went through a lot of the Hallmark ornaments and talked about when they were bought & what they represented. The funniest was a Ford Edsel (I think 1958) like he had, we laughed & laughed at how ugly that car was. It's great to see him enjoy himself and he certainly loves the holidays. He's anxious for Pat's gift to arrive he's had me go check on it at the warehouse for the last few hours - no luck yet:):)
I'm making pizza for dinner tonight, homemade which everyone seems to really enjoy. Nothing big, but something that we all like, I use a small amount of cheese to help with the fat and I think I'm using pepperoni & salami tonight along with sweet onions for the toppings. Sure wish I could feed everyone I know you'd enjoy it.
Well, I think I'll head over to the warehouse to see if the gift has gotten here yet. Enjoy your evening - stay inside & stay warm. We miss & love you all.
