Thursday - Early Evening

Well, it's really hot & humid, we had a brief break from the hot weather but it's back. We have to hang on until next week then it is suppose to get cooler - can't wait. I guess it's great for the kids they will have nice weather for Halloween. We never have a single child, I guess it's to far between the houses and down the drive-way for the kids to try to trick or treat at our houses.

Gym is over for the week, tomorrow is grocery shopping and our normal Friday things. Dad is in his chair reading & Patrick and I watched a great movie this afternoon. No special plans for dinner, probably left overs to clean out the refrigerator before I shop again tomorrow. Guess I'll close & check on Patrick I think he's watching the highlights from the movie. I'll blog again later. We love & miss everyone.

I would like to see Phoenix House, the largest drug treatment organization in the world, and my alma mater, provide some leadership in this area. Our last three presidents all used drugs and by the grace of God were never busted. Still they support policies and laws that destroy lives for same behaviors they indulged. The question is how do we get them to do what they know is right?

It seems obvious to me that Ron Paul has been avoiding the big states for some time now. He simply has no money nor the organization to wage a campaign in Texas followed by California. My guess is that he will attend any and all of the remaining states with caucuses. His supporters are the pros at that game and he will end up gaining a few delegates in order to add or modify a plank or two at the National Convention. n nAs for who truly influenced the current direction of the Republican campaign, it was not Ron Paul. Harking back to the debates, the candidates agreed with Newt more than any other participant. and that included Mittens. But I will see nothing here that will ever give Newt the respect that he is due. We have seen the last of Newt and the last of Ron Paul. I truly hope that we have seen the last of Rick Santorum. If Mitt blows this, conservatives had best mount a Palin campaign stating January 1, 2013.
