Finished my sweeping chores boy could I tell it had been breezy outside. It's finished for a couple of days and I'm glad. I also baked a new recipe for "Pignole (pine nut) Cookies. The recipe was posted on the Better Homes & Gardens web site so I decided to try it. Actually my old recipe is much more involved and I think tastes about the same. Pat & Dad loved them so I guess the recipe is a "keeper" for this years Christmas baking chore. Unfortunately this is one of my favorite cookies and I only bake it during the Holidays so I have to limit how many I bake and when I do them. Wish all of you were here to try them. Dad loves them and they are very low in sodium so they are also a good choice for him. I think he's already eaten three or four cookies along with his leftover pizza from last night.
Pat's still at the shop, I have been over a couple of times today to take him something fresh to drink, an apple, and naturally a few of the new cookies which he loved. He only plans on working until about 4:30/5:00 because we have to run & pick up burgers before the GATORS game (6:00). Well, I think I need to put away the clothes that I have washed and get ready for the GATOR GROWL!!!! I'll blog again tomorrow. Have a super evening. We love & miss all of you.
