Yep, it's getting hot outside. We got up early, enjoyed our coffee and then started doing things around the house. I threw out some old cookbooks and a few things from my mother's linen closet. Boy do I still have a lot of "junk" to go through, I'll absolutely never get finished. Accomplished going through and throwing out four boxes from one of our bedroom closets, that's a feeling of accomplishment. Seems like I'm trying to fill the dumpster before they come to empty it next Thursday. I think I can manage to do that.
We rode dueling tractors yesterday and got all the grass cut so it's not calling our names this weekend. Honestly, if you stand outside long enough you can watch or should I say hear it grow. Come on winter the cutting is a lot less. Our hay cutter is suppose to be here anytime and boy do we need him. He borrowed our big Kabota tractor for a job he was doing (about 2 weeks ago) & he hasn't been back looks like we'll have to send out the posse if he doesn't soon show up.
Pat's been working on the computer now he has me copying things for him. New day, new job, I don't mind it atleast gives me something to do. We enjoyed the football game last night, I'm disappointed with the Jets decision to take on Vick but time will tell. I only hope he stays away from dog doings and teaches the young to respect them. I just feel like a person's personality is depicted by how he treats his animals, and hanging them/torturing them isn't very wise. Oh well, maybe he learned a lesson I sure hope so.
Well, I think I'll see who wants lunch. I doubt that Dad want anything he ate a breakfast big enough to feed all three of us. Yep, he has a real good appetite lately and lucky him, he doesn't gain a pound. Boy is life unfair!!
