It's early evening around 4:00 & NFL Network has last nights Skins vs. Ravens game on. I hate watching the games when you know the results especially when your team isn't the winner. So, I thought I'd take a break & check on things around the house. Dad is in his normal place in his chair watching TV/sleeping, Patrick is at the shop staining the cabinet/shelves he made for the masterbath room, dogs, cats, & birds are doing their normal "sleeping".
Believe it or not, but it's in the upper 70's, overcast and not yet raining but I know it's coming. You can feel it in the nice breeze and smell it in the air. I think rain will sit in sooner then later. Oh well, it will make for a nice movie night. We stayed home from the gym this morning, had far to many things to do around the house. Our housekeeper was here but I managed to help her with some of the lighter tasks. Patrick made her a computer with some things out of her old one and some things he had at the shop so she left here with a "like" new computer and very pleased.
Grocery shopping is finished for most of the week, so let it rain. We'll drink, eat, and watch TV. No special plans for dinner tonight, I think we'll run out and grab a sandwich or something. Patrick ate a late lunch and Dad has a huge "dinner" plate lunch so I know they won't want to eat until later. Well, I think I'll run over to the shop & check on my "master". Have a great nights - we love & miss everyone.
