Thursday - Early Evening

August 6, 2009 08:45 by pphipps

Just about time to call it a day.  The storm is over and the temperature is only 78 degrees however, it is HUMID!!  Pat's at the warehouse working on the new wood shelf for the main bathroom, Dad's in his chair asleep, the dogs are beside me in the office sleeping, and the birds & cats are also asleep.  I think there is something going through the house that's generating "sleeping".  Guess I'll have to get up from the computer and start dinner.  No big plans just a simple hamburger/hotdog casserole along with some oven potatoes & probably a salad.  No big deal, just simple & easy (the kinda dinner I like to make).

I think we're taking the day off from the gym tomorrow so I have no idea what the morning plans are (unless Patrick changes his mind).  Believe it or not, I hate missing the gym but it does you good once in awhile to have a break.  Plus, we'll be there all weekend for the racquetball tournament unless Rich & Patrick take a beating early in the competition.  So honestly, the day off tomorrow would be to our benefit.  We have a chance of rain tomorrow but less then earlier this week so maybe we'll have a day without rain - doubtful but possible.  Still can't believe we haven't had the threat of a hurricane it's almost to quiet to feel safe.  Our busiest time of the year is September/October so I know they are still out there.  The greatest thing (or one of them) was moving from Ft. Lauderdale to Ocala, we have very little to worry about being so far inland and with very few trees on our property.  I'm thankful to not have to prepare every time a storm even thinks about churning around us.

Well, think I'll start dinner & see if I can get Dad to wake up.  Have a super evening.  I'll be back at you tomorrow.

Hugs & Kisses,

Patty
