WOW, I don't know where the days have gone since I last blogged on Tuesday. Sorry, but between having computer issues which Patrick worked on for a couple of days, and being busy I just didn't get to blog. Actually there hasn't been to offically much going on. We've been to the gym everyday with our regular racquetball & work-out, grocery shopping (to spend nearly $200.00 again), drug store, Loews (sp), the likely places we always tend to go. Other then that Pat kept real busy working on the computer. I guess a new one is in the near future, and I dread his having to build one, but we both think time is close. Honestly, being without a computer is like being without your brain and boy do I know that feeling.
We even took both dogs to the vet this week. Hank is getting old but still healthy & little man, Abner, is fisty as ever was and still thinks he's a rottweiller (sp). Big man actually needs his teeth cleaned but we're afraid to put him under at his age so I think unless it gets absolutely necessary we're going to leave them alone. He doesn't appear to be having any problems so I think it's worth waiting out. As you all know, little man's are so crooked I don't think they could go bad!!
Dad's doing pretty good, they changed some of his meds as I mentioned a couple of days ago and all seems to be okay. I honestly have never seen a small man eat so much, he eats far more then Pat & I do. If we ate every time he eats we'd be to large to get through the double house doors!! It's funny because when I try a new dish that he likes he hopes we have leftovers so he can eat them later that evening & the next day. The new chicken dish I made this week he at dinner, night snack, lunch & dinner the next day. I kinda think he liked it!!
Honestly, I'm going out today to try to find a new pillow that I can sleep on. I keep saying that's what I'm going to do but today, come hell or high water that is my plan. Pat has gone to the warehouse (I have no idea doing what) but I'm sure he won't be there long as the humidity is terrible today - worse then normal so his time outside is very limited.
Sure hope the football team practice is going well, I know Freddy & Franny have their hands full. I know Patrick misses the teams and the guys, friends, family, etc. I hope we can get there this year for homecoming. Please drop us a note (comment) as soon as the date is set so I can try to get someone to come stay with Dad and try to get airline tickets. We'd love to see everyone, and I know Pat would be in heaven at the football field.
Well, I need to check on my laundry. I stripped the bed this AM and the sheets should be finished. I'll make the bed then finish getting dressed hopefully to go out and buy a new pillow. I'll probably blog again later today. Stay inside, stay cool, we love & miss everyone.
