Good morning guys, just finished my morning animal chores and decided I'd blog a little before Patrick and I go out to shop a little. I need a new pillow for neck support, and a few other things. I'm not the shopper so I've waited until I don't think I can wait any longer. Plus, I need to pick up one of my prescriptions as I don't have a single pill left. What a beautiful day, it's only 80 degrees, breezy, and sunny as it can be. This is the weather I recall for this time of the year. No rain forecasted for today and it is only going to 90 degrees feels like we're having Spring. I won't get overly excited as I know it won't last for long.
Dad is already reading for the morning and Patrick is at the shop. I think I'll do some things in our bedroom later this afternoon and change my Dad's shower curtain in his bathroom. I like to do that periodically, just to brighten things up a bit. I hear Dad in the kitchen probably fixing himself some breakfast. He plans to go to church this morning which I'm thankful for. It seems to do him good to get out of the house on occasion, and church certainly won't hurt any of us.
If you didn't watch "Farrah's Story" do so. After watching it (even though it is depressing) on "Oxygen channel" yesterday I realized how we made the correct decisions for my mother. The show definately shows her deep suffering and what all the treatment both in our Country and Germany will do for you. I feel as though all it did was give her months of pure pain. It is a heart wrenching story that leaves you with a lot to think about. I would not have wanted my Mom to go through the pain and torture that Farrah went through. Farrah was an amazing strong woman that I honor for her drive to live and help people that are suffering like she did. We will miss her and her beautiful smile forever.
Well, I think I'll do a few things around the house. Have a great hopefully sunny Sunday. We love & miss everyone.
Love,
Patty
