I can't believe we lost another star this week. Three total and so young for both Michael Jackson & Farrah. As all of you have heard me say since my anyerusm, when I put my feet on the floor every morning I thank God for giving me another day to share my life with Patrick, my family, & dear friends. We never know what tomorrow will bring us and we need to be thanksful for "EVERY" day that we have on this wonderful earth. Our thoughts are with all the families and friends of the dearly lost. You will all three be truly missed.
I got up early and went out in front of the property and cut the grass. It's now 9:48 and in the low 80's so I lucked out with the weather. I'm glad it's over for the week, and with little to no rain hopefully it won't grow much this week. I had skipped the last cut and didn't cut out front and boy did it need it, long, thick, but beautifully green. It looks far better now that it's cut, I hate the long tacky look when the grass gets so tall you can hide in it.
Patrick is in the warehouse doing something with a saw that he bought from a friend at the gym. I only hope he has better luck with it then the bits & the router. His hand seems to be healing quickly he must have good healthy blood. Thank God one of us has something healthy. I think we're going to Lowes later today for something he needs. I only wish the store had some household items (other then what they have) and night clothes I might even think about shopping!!!
Dad is in his chair napping this AM, he said his stomach is bothing him a little, I just think he's tired. He seems to be sleeping much better then in the past so I'm not worried about him. The heat I am certain has something to do with it. He is eating really good and maintaining his weight so I know he's not retaining water. I just let him sleep when he feels like it. I'll wake him around lunch time and make certain he eats and he usually gets up & reads for most of the afternoon. He has been going to sleep before midnight every night which is a drastic change for him. He seems to be in better spirits thank God.
Well, I think I'll go in & shower from my lawn cutting. Hair needs washed and I certainly need to clean up. I'll post again later. Have a great hopefully sunny weekend.
