Monday Mid 90's

Wow, another day in the 90's, when the heck is this going to stop. Our weather man said that last year we only had three 90 degree days all summer. I think we're on a streak of 7 or 9 already this year. I wish your guys rain would lighten up and our temperatures would cool down. Oh well, I guess we have to live with what we're given and I'm not overly fond of this gift.

Father's Day was really nice, my Dad loved his new electronic Dart Board now he's anxious for Patrick to get it hung. Down side is Pat plans to make a nice wooden cabinet for it so it may be awhile or he'll hang it and re-hang it once the cabinet is finished. If he doesn't make a cabinet he may recess it in the wall. Whatever Pat decides I know it will be very nice. Our dinner was great we enjoyed it so much no one but Dad ate any Ambrosia (spelling) Pat & I were to full; we just layed in bed after dinner and enjoyed TV.

We just got home from the gym and Dad just left for his routine weekly trip to the library. He loves getting books and thoroughly enjoys sitting in his chair and reading. He's back reading John Grishom in fact I think he's just about read all of his books. Between the cowboy books and Grishom I don't know which he likes best.

No special plans for dinner it's far to hot to think about cooking.

Well I'll close & try to fix Patrick some lunch. Enough with lunch, we had Ambrosia for lunch - far to hot to eat!!

Thank you so much for the format. My son has a severe language disorder and was not diagnosed until aged 12. I have had severe difficulties trying to communicate his problem with his teachers. In fact, I now insist his Speech Therapist is involved in his initial meetings with his teachers because if I suggest a strategy it is often thought of as an overprotective mother, but if a Speech Therapist suggests the same strategy, it is more often listened to and used.
