Wow, the week has nearly come & gone. I can't believe how hot it is outside, no rain, sunny, and only a light breeze. By mid afternoon after 1:00 it is 90 degrees and I can't imagine what the heat index is considering the humidity. I swear we didn't have a Spring "AT ALL" this year; I can only hope that we have an early start to winter. Gym work-out was great, Patrick & the crew had their normal racquetball games. Sammy arrived "a little" late but he played hard when he got there. See you tomorrow AM at 9:00 Sam - on time!!
Nothing really new around the house, it is far to hot to go outside & try to do anything. Most of our afternoons are spent watching a movie. Yesterday we watched Grand Torino with Clint Eastwood. What a great movie, if you haven't seen it make sure to rent or buy it, it was good and quite a good lesson for the kids.
Dad & Pat have gone to Harbor Freight to try and find a wood working electrical tool (I can't remember what it was) and I'm home alone with the animals. However, it is peaceful & quiet so I'm not complaining. No special plans for dinner I think I'll make a simple chicken & pasta dish that will be easy and require little work.
Nothing special planned for the weekend I think we may drive to a couple of the local horse ranches that offer onsight tours and see what we've missed. That of course is contingent upon the weather and how hot it's going to be. According to the news it is suppose to be dry & 90's throughout the rest of the week & weekend. We'll plan our weekend on the weather - movies & pool games are always a good alternative.
Well, I think I'll close & make a couple of phone calls. I thought I blogged yesterday but I obviously didn't - sorry! I'll post again later.
