You guessed it, it's hot and humid outside. Gym morning is over and I hate Mondays after taking two days off (three last week since we waited for the electrician on Friday & didn't go to the gym) boy does your body feel the difference. It felt like I hadn't worked my lowers for a week or so. However, I made it through the work-out and I'm ready for Tim my trainer tomorrow; I imagine my legs will still be sore but it's worth it.
Patrick had his typical racquetball games however they played longer and harder. He played as partner with one of the guys he's been playing for a year and they did well together. Patrick had fifteen (yes, 15) scoring serves in a row. I think they smoked the team they were playing throughout all the games.
I got tired watching them play, all I can say is that is one sport that gives you a great cardio work-out and you have to love it to play it!!
Dad goes to the eye doctor (retina Dr.) for his macular degeneration eye injection this afternoon. Don't know whether this is the last one or not, but I know that they seem to be working pretty well for him. So, keep your fingers crossed that the results are good and we have improvement by next week or so. The results of the x-rays have looked better and the Retina Dr. seems to be very very pleased so we have our fingers crossed. He's sitting in the chair reading another Grishom (spelling?) novel, he loves his books. We've also gotten him a lot of WWII movies which he seems to thoroughly enjoy.
Well, I think I'll close & try to get a few things done around the house, laundry washing, etc. I'll post later. Smile, it's bright & sunny outside!!
Love,
Patty
