I wish I were creative because I could write one h _ _ _ of an intro but since I'm not that creative writer any longer I can only tell you that it's thundering, lightening, and dark skys. Does that describe what weather we're having. We got up this AM, Patrick went down to pick up what trash people had thrown out their windows last night and I got on the tractor to start mowing. All of a sudden the skies got dark, the rain started & Patrick ran me off the tractor and brought me to the house on the golf cart. I can't believe one of my favorite tasks got taken away from me this AM. It's hard to believe how much rain we've had lately we normally have a brief storm then within an hour you can't tell it even rained. Not lately, we've even had standing water (for a few hours) in our lawn and it's clearly obvious that we've had storms. So, I guess my day of lawn cutting is over - what now?
Patrick is at the shop making something out of wood I think it's a shelf very tall to go behind the toilet in our bathroom. He made beautiful half moon cuts on each side of it and is installing shelves one of his many projects. He has a shop full of projects so he can definately keep himself occupied during this rainy weather. I really need to start cleaning out my Mom's room but I haven't even been able to go in there and spend any time, I kinda enter and pass through when I need something out of it. One of these days I need to bite the bullet & get it done.
Well, I better close as the thunder is louder and seems closer. If it's raining stay in, enjoy a movie and each others company. We love and miss everyone, sure wish we could visit it would be nice to see everyone.
