Can you believe we're already into June? Yep, hurricane season & all - I don't need to mention that we've had late July/August weather since early May. The one good thing is we finally had rain last week - cut the grass on Friday and it looks like it needs cut again. Oh well, I'm not complaining as we drastically needed the rain and what we had was well over due. The one thing I can say, we have beautiful "green" grass not brown as we had early May. Welcome summer, I'm glad you're here even though it's early for your terrible temperatures.
We've already had our morning gym work-out and wow how much better I feel when I've been there. My treatmill has greatly increased I'm fast walking at 3.9 for twenty minutes and I really feel it when it's over. All in all, I did lowers, abs, and treadmill today and wow what a work-out. I'll miss my Trainer tomorrow as he has one of his children's graduation to attend but I'm certain he'll make it up to me on Wednesday. So, I better have a great upper work-out tomorrow to prepare myself. Patrick and the regular racquetball crew used both courts today and all seemed to go great for him. His wrist that he broke back when I had my anyerusm has been bothering him so he is wearing his wrist brace and used ice last night but he doesn't want to go to the doctor. He knows what's best and I'm certain it must be feeling better at least I hope so.
No special plans for dinner tonight we have leftovers so I think that's what we're going to eat. When it's hot outside noone seems to want to eat much, maybe a light salad for us & dad can have the chicken with a baked potato & veges. Bt the way, the Brown Sugar Chicken that I fixed yesterday in the crock pot was excellent and sooooo soooo easy to make. We had that with Jasmine Rice & Peas rather tasty for an easy crock pot dinner.
Well, I think I'll close & listen to the President about the GM fiasco - one I never thought I'd live to see. I'll post again later.
