Yep, it's 88 degrees & unusually warm for us. Unlike our normal weather we don't even have a breeze blowing. We had our normal gym work-out this morning, then off to the store for some Propel Water, home for lunch and now it's time to watch a movie or two. It is definately far tooooo hot to go outside or to the warehouse to do anything. Pat & I both think the inside hot weather has started early this year, I think we were still doing outside things this time last year. Nearly every day we watch a movie or something on TV so the hottest part of the day passes with us inside. I can't believe our gym didn't have any AC on in fact, for the the past several days it hasn't been on I don't think it's working. I see the new units sitting at the gym but no installation as of today, sure glad we go early in the morning I couldn't imagine being there in the afternoon as hot as it's been.
Dad's doing pretty good, his back has really been bothering him but his weight is holding steady and his breathing has been much better. Most of his day is spent watching TV he hasn't shot any pool in quite awhile. We invite him to play every night but by then he's pretty sedentary and deep into one of his books. I think he read 8 novels last week; all we do is take him to the library to get new books he loves reading. With his bad eye I don't know how he's handling so much reading but he works at it every day and some days reads more then others.
Patrick is at the shop cutting a piece of wood on his new saw, he's like a kid in the "candy store". I love to watch him work on things, he works so diligently on every task he does. Perfection is definately one of his qualities (aside from many others) one that he should really pride himself with having. So many of us take on chores and never strive to "be perfect" I honestly think his goal of "perfection" comes before anything when he's building something.
Well, I think I'll go to the shop & check on him then watch a movie (once I can get him out of the shop). I'll post again later. Hugs & Kisses,
