Kentucky Derby Day and I love it. Weather looks very poor for the race but it could clear up before it begins. Our area has quite a few horses in the race (as usual) and I love to watch them all compete. I actually have no favorite I wait until just befor the race (couple of hours) then I select who I am rooting for. I'd love to go there one day (I've been at the facility but never the race) and actually be a part of it. I doubt that I'd wear a hat but I love looking at them. Sooo today will consist of a little time at the warehouse for Patrick then the afternoon watching a movie & the race. Usually as it gets warmer during the day we come inside; then during the early evening hours we're outside again. We both cut lawn yesterday, believe it or not but I love getting on the tractor and cutting the grass it's peaceful and you can do a lot of thinking (which I do but I can't remember what I thought about!!!).
Dad is having a pretty good day, he just got out of his chair & is going to the warehouse to get something. With the flu epedemic I don't like him going outside at all, but I can't expect him to stay in every hour of every day.
