We started our beautiful sunny Sunday at Loews (Patrick's favorite place), then home to do some minor fence repairs. There were a couple of broken boards so Patrick fixed the boards & trimmed our neighbor's tree (the part hanging over our fence) so the dogs & cattle couldn't socialize!!! Now he's off to the warehouse to piddle on something he's working on. Another day, another project exactly what I expect out of him. I honestly never saw anyone stay so busy, new day new task. Having this much property requires a lot of work thank God he's up to the nearly daily chores.
Dad is in his chair watching the President speak and eating. Honestly, he has been eating all day; I started the morning off making him center cut lean bacon (not fried but cooked in the MW), egg beaters, fresh strawberries, and one slice of whole wheat (100%) toast with promise & homemade jelly (Mom's last jar). When we got home from Loews he had eaten strawberries (from yesterday's trip), and some crackers. Now he's having low sodium pinto beans and 1/2 slice of bread. Patrick & I haven't eaten anything today; if we ate every time Dad ate we'd be as big as the warehouse!!! I only wish Dad would gain some weight but he is holding steady at his low weight, maybe he'll add some in the near future.
I think the pool table is calling my name so I'll practice a little while Patrick is at the shop. Promise to post again later. Smile when you go outside I know you're all enjoying the sunshine. According to the morning news it looks like you're having good weather (at least it's warm & sunny from what I can tell). Soooo, enjoy.
