Yesterday, just after we left for the gym, a huge storm blew through Anthony causing a lot of damage. Fortunately, we were spared any real damage. We did have some debris that had blown quite a distance to make it to our pasture and a hard top shelter that weighed about 600 lbs. was picked up and blown several feet into the paddock where we keep some equipment. It must have been one hell of a wind. When we got home from the gym we were on generator power where we stayed until about 3:00 AM this morning. We really were thankful to have a stand-by power generator. Once inside there was no sign of any problem with the electricity. Lights, TV, computers, A/C stove and microwave worked as usual. We rode around and took some photos of some of the damage. Forecasters are saying that it was likely a tornado.
