Another day has come & nearly gone - wow, I don't know where time or the days go. We started off at the gym (like every day of the week), did some laundry, went by the grocery store, then the post office to send off a couple of racquets for restringing, and it's nearly 4:00:):) Patrick is at the warehouse cleaning up some of his tools from the floor installation, and Dad is reading and watching (or probably listening) to CNN. I should really be doing some things around the house but I thought I'd post a note before I started a new task.
Looks like I need to schedule pick-up of the pool table, it's nearly time to start moving the furniture back into the LR & DR. I think there is one piece of finish molding that has be to ordered but it is at the door where you go out onto the screened porch so it won't stop us from finishing the room and having the pool table delivered. I don't know how long it will take to have it picked up, but the owner of the business said to give him plenty of time. I think I mentioned the table was built in 1902, solid wood and extremely heavy so he needs at least 4 men to have the table broken down & moved.
Dad went to the hearing doctor today and his hearing has changed drastically in his right ear. I knew it was worse, but I didn't expect such a drastic change. Out of 25 words he could only identify 3 of them. Looks like hearing aid change is in line. Between his eyes & ears I don't know which is the worst. I do know that getting older stinks, your body doesn't supply itself like it use to.
Well, I think I'll close & make a pot of coffee. Enjoy your evening, I'll post again tomorrow after the gym.
