Well, my day started off last night when my neighbor's (who doesn't live on site) steer got out and ended up on our property. You guessed it, we had to close the front gate and allow him to spend the night (could you call it a sleep over?) until this AM when the animal control could get a trailer and people out to remove it. Wellllll, I thought I should stay home from the gym so my Dad didn't have to deal with all the mess around the house (our dogs, the steer, the animal control, etc). Patrick takes off for the gym runs into someone next door (caregiver) who comes over knocks down part of our fence and gets the steer back on his bosses land. Now I'm home and bored, Dad is out back on the golf cart talking to the guy who works the property and I'm stuck doing laundry, taking care of the birds, emptying trash, etc. Sound fun doesn't it?? I feel like the housekeeper in my own home. Oh well, being a farmer sucks some of the time.
Dad and I are off to he eye doctor this afternoon hopefully that will be a good visit. I think he is reading to much and what he thinks is a problem with his eyes is just being tired from so much reading. I think he reads 4-6 books from the library a week. No wonder he seems to know all about everything!!
Well, I need to check the laundry I have a load of sheets washing. I'll blog again later if my boss gives me some time off (HA HA HA!!): ): ):
