Well, Dad is at Church and Patrick is at his favorite place THE WAREHOUSE. Believe it or not, but I drove to the local store for the first time in about 1 1/2 years. It's only down the street from home but I did the driving there and home. I must admit that I was not real comfortable but I know if I have to that I can at least run to the close store. Would I drive on the interstate or the busy streets NOPE but I will at least drive on our local road. I'm still a little nervous but I did it and that's all that matters. I'm making an oriental dish for dinner and I needed fresh ginger so I opted to drive to get it. I'm glad I did but I don't know how much driving I would try to do on a regular basis.
We're disappointed that Freddy and family aren't coming down this year for the race but we totally understand. Between the cost of things and everyone getting their lives in order it's hard to do anything these days. Hopefully we'll be back to visit the family & friends in MD soon (after it warms up). We certainly miss everyone and as long as my Dad is feeling okay, we plan to make our trip. The dogs will lay around the house with Pop and we'll visit our family and friends can't wait.
I guess I'll get ready to make some lunch for Pat & Dad. I promise to blog again later. Stay inside and stay warm. Better yet go to the mall Kathy & do some shopping that sounds better then staying home (if I were there I'd go with you).
