I can't believe how cold it is outside. We just watched Obama in Baltimore and it was far tooooo cold for me. I spoke with Tricia via text messaging and she said it was freezing cold and busines at the restaurant was slow because of the crowd waiting to see Obama. What a historic event I can't believe how our Country has changed good bad or indifferent we need the CHANGE he represents. I only pray that he will be safe and serve a good term in office; there are so many crazy people out there that God only knows what the future will hold for any of us. I ask that we all look to the future for change and hopefully prosperity.
Speaking of the weather, I'm glad our cold spell is "short" lived I couldn't tolerate an extended period of time with cold cold cold weather. It's in the 50's and still cold for me. I have to stop and think about what I would do if I had to live in freezing temperatures again - I DON'T THINK SO!!!!
Patrick has been busy at the warehouse today, I think he's working on our wooden rockers. I have done all the laundry and made a new chili recipe for tonight. Believe it or not, it has peanut butter in it and it's made in the crock pot. I'll let you know how it comes out and if it's no good we can always have TV dinners - ugh!!
Well, I'll close and get the last load of laundry out of the dryer. STAY INSIDE AND STAY WARM.
