Yep, 28 degrees this AM and colder then I can remember since our one 22 degree day last year. I absolutely hate cold weather and can't figure out why people continue to live where it's so darn cold. Poor DC I think it was -5 degrees wind chill factor this AM. Guess what, we have ice hanging from our orange trees where they have been under watering all night to keep the fruit from being affected. Patrick covered our grapefruit tree again last night with the small C-7 Christmas lights and a tarp can't wait until this "cold" spell is over. It was so cold this morning Hank went out the front door looked to his left then his right, turned around and came right back inside I guess he decided to wait until it warms up before he goes to potty!!
Everyone else in the house is up and watching the Today show, I have laundry (sheets) in and the day is off to a nice cold start. Looks like three loads will wrap up my laundry week. I love my new front load equipment but I prefer it when it's a little warmer in the garage.
