12/31 New Years Eve!!!!

December 31, 2008 07:54 by pphipps

Where has the year gone?  Time has certainly come and gone.  I can't complain compared to years in the past my year has been wonderful.  I have lots to be thankful for, first my wonderful Patrick who is always there for me and my family.  He loves me all the time, he shares his inner most thoughts with me, and we share our wonderful life with each other.  We are fortunate enough to have wonderful families that we can share our lives with.  Thanks to the children we have grandchildren that make our lives even happier.  We are fortunate to live close to the Nolans so we can spend even more time with Nora, one of the grandchildren.  This New Years will be the first time I've had the chance to share my time with a grandchild.  We can't wait we are anxiously awaiting their arrival at our house on New Years Day.

We have every day to share with my Dad.  It is lonesome this year for him being the first year my Mom is gone.  We work hard every day to make the day special for him and to try to help him put out of his mind the loss that we all encounter.  It is very difficult to be with someone more than sixty years then for them to be gone so quickly.  As long as he needs us we will be here for him.  He is our life now and we do everything we can to make life special for him.  I am forever indebted to him and Patrick is so wonderful with him I don't know what I would do without Pat he makes my life and my Dad's complete.  I love you Patrick and look forward to sharing the rest of my life with you.

I miss my daughter, Tricia immensley.  She is in MD and seems to be making progress with her life.  We only wish her everything that makes her happy, she is a wonderful young lady and has more then believable to offer her friends and family.  Honey, we are proud of you and want only the best for you and your future.

I wake every morning and thank God for having Patrick next to me.  He has helped me through my sickness, my mom's death, and my father's health issues.  Honey, I love you more then you can imagine.  You are my first breath in the morning and my last thought when I close my eyes at night.  I LOVE YOU.

To everyone, HAPPY NEW YEAR.  Be careful, don't drink and drive, come visit us when you can.

Love,

Patty
