Well this year has nearly passed us by; we're on the countdown and it isn't long. No plans for New Years Eve, just a quiet night at home watching the TV festivities and the neighborhood fireworks which are wild. We're excited about our daughter, Jeanine and her family being here with us we can't wait to have our late Christmas with all of them.
We had a wonderful breakfast prepared by our dear MD friend, Wayne Miller. He came over a couple of days ago to visit and what a cook, I just love to have him visit with us. He's the best company, a great eater, and a super cook!! His big dog (rottie) and our big dog, Hank, are making friends but it's a little on and off at times. Guido the rottie seems to know his limits and he doesn't mess toooooo tooooo much with Hank. Abner our little Yorkie doesn't want any part of them all he wants to do is stay in the house on my lap.
Dad seems to be doing better he's getting dressed for Church this morning. He ate a great breakfast and is moving along with some light daily tasks; very light but a lot better then the past couple of weeks. We take one day at a time and make the best out of every day.
Our weather has been unseasonably warm unfortunately our fruit isn't getting as sweet as usual there is a call for a little cooler weather this week hopefully it will sweeten the fruit before Freddy and family arrive in February. If you took a look at our video page you'll see some of the fruit trees wish everyone was here to enjoy them with us.
Well, I'll close and get our bedroom straightened up for the morning. I'll post again later.
Love,
Patty
