WOW, Christmas Day has come and gone and what a day. The family time together was wonderful wonderful wonderful, we missed our daughter and family but sickness definately takes priority. Jeanine, I must admit we ate your & Jeremy's share of food. However, I have frozen a lot of things and plan to cook when you come up next week. Now we have something else to look forward to. The Nolan family gifts are under our tree and waiting to be opened; hopefully the dogs and cats will leave them alone until you guys can get here. We had great food, fantastic gifts, and fun in the kitchen.
Mom, we missed you more then you will ever know. However, we all know you are better off then we are and you are watching and laughing with us. Dad had a pretty good day considering we kept him busy and tried to occupy his mind all day. He loves the electronic device that will be installed in a couple of weeks that will automatically check the house generator and will turn on when necessary. I think that is propbably his favorite Christmas gift ever we're so pleased that he likes it as well as the smaller things we gave him.
Patrick gave me (aside from my new upright washer & dryer) a gorgeous remake of a piece of Jackie Kennedy jewelry; it is a beautiful angel studded with diamonds and a nice ruby. Now he'll have to take me some place to wear the piece it far to large and beautiful to wear every day or just anywhere. Ummm wonder where I could plan to go to wear it??? Any suggestions????? I also got a commercial Kitchen Aid blender that we have put to good use for fruit smoothies. Clothes, work out equipment and attire, what can I say, SANTA was real good to me.
Patrick now has a Play Station 3 which has Blu Ray technology what a fantastic picture we watched Hancock and it was great. He isn't much on games but the one it came with has kept him occupied. I over supplied him with gym shorts and T-shirts, a new gym bag, etc. We all had a great visit from Santa..
Well, I guess I better get busy getting dressed so I can do a few things around the house. I think I may start ready a little more the the book that Rachael and family sent me. I love to read and I know I'll thoroughly enjoy it.
Again, Merry Christmas to all our family & friends. We miss you and would love for you to visit us soon.
Love,
Patty
