Black Friday and we slept until nearly 7:00AM. No "BIG" deals for us - I really doubt that there were that many fantastic deals anyway. I hope everyone who got up early to get the deals got them. We truly rely on the computer for shopping it is much easier and as we get older sales aren't as important as they use to be. We only have grandchildren to be concerned with and that's a piece of cake on the internet. We are nearly finished with our child we selected off the tree at our gym I guess we'll take the things with us this week. I haven't bought anything yet but there is plenty of time for that. No Black Friday deals for us I don't feel like fighting the crowds anyway.
Our Thanksgiving was okay, dinner was great but we all really missed Mom. She was with me in the kitchen the entire time I cooked and she helped me prepare a flawless meal. The only thing, I forgot the cheese on the broccoli but it was eaten so what difference did it actually make! No pumpkin pie Patrick isn't really fond of it so I made a homemade apple (not nearly as good as Leslie Kings) pie it was good. However, by 8:30 last night I was exhausted and ready for bed. We had company from Ft. Myers who is spending the weekend with us so I enjoyed feeding him and his company is beyond belief.
Well, I think I'll shower and get ready for the day. I may strip the lights off the Christmas tree and get it ready to go up over the weekend. Sure hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.
Mom we love and miss you.
Love,
Patty
