It's been very busy here, trying to get ready for Turkey Day and visit with out of State family we haven't stopped. I can't tell you how quite it is without Mom - things are different and it is very hard to adjust to. I know time will make things easier but it is very rough right now. I am trying to occupy myself with Turkey Day cooking but I only need so much with as little as we all eat.
Dad is making progress but slowly. He is eating good and seems to be sleeping okay, I just hope how soon the swelling goes out of his feet and he can get up an about a little. I know he dearly misses Mom but Patrick and I have tried to fill the void as much as we can. He definately keeps us on our toes it is non-stop never ending from early morning until evening. I try to fix his breakfast before Pat & I go to the gym, then home to fix lunch and continue until dinner. Honestly I am so tired by 6:00PM that I'm ready to call it a night.
Harold the cat got sick and spent the night at the vet last evening. The infection on his face was opened, cleaned, and he was medicated. We just picked him up and he seems to be doing okay. Never ending, from the humans to the animals.
Well, I think I'll close and watch the news.
