Well, today has nearly ended and things are going well. Dad's first full day at home and he is doing well considering what he has been through. He walked out to the orange trees today and pulled a couple for OJ tomorrow morning. Thank God he's doing better; I can only hope that every day is a better day. It's enough with Mom so ill but Dad also sick makes it very difficult.
Pat & I took Mom to the doctor today. She prescribed more medication and wants to try to help with some of her pain. I honestly don't know if the pain is real or if she thinks she is experiencing pain. It is so difficult with a cancer patient you just dont' know what to do. She will be taking another pain killer and some anxiety medicine so hopefully she will feel some relief. Her "at home" nurse is recommending Hospice so we can get some help around here with freeing up some of our time. We had originally refused Hospice but now we're in agreement and think it will be the best for all of us.
I'm going back to the gym tomorrow I've been off all week taking care of things at home. I'm anxious to see my trainer and get back into part of my normal routine.
